I get errors creating a TPAR file

You are trying to create a TPAR file, but get an error that includes:

System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path ‘C:\Documents and Settings\TPAR\TPARxxxx-xx-xx’ is denied.

The problem is that Vision is not being allowed to create the file at that location.  This could be because of either computer security, or anti-virus security.

The solution is to change the location Vision is trying to use.  Click on the Ellipsis, button, as shown below, and select a location you are allowed to access.  “Documents” or “Desktop” are generally both suitable. Pay attention to where you save the file, you will need to locate it again when you upload the file through the ATO’s portal.
